The Light's House · Christmas 2026
Come and eat
with us.
Once a year, we book a long table in a restaurant. Whoever wants to come, comes. No programme, no offering, nobody asked to stand up. Just a meal, good company, and a little room to be together.
· London
An evening worth making room for.
“God is not angry with you. His peace is for you, with you, and lives in you.”
A seat at the table
Dinner, not a service.
No programme
No service to sit through and no offering. We eat, talk, and catch up. That is the evening.
Bring whoever you like
A friend, your partner, someone who could use an evening out. They do not need to belong to our church.
Everyone pays their own way
You pay for your own meal. Come for the company and choose what works for you.

A few things you might be wondering
Before you ask.
Can I come on my own?
Yes. Plenty of people do, and you will not be the only one. You do not need to bring someone to have a place at the table.
I have never been to anything of yours before.
You are welcome. There is nothing to know beforehand and no expectation that you will join the church. This is an invitation to dinner.
What about children?
Tell us if you are bringing children when you book, including their ages. Please confirm suitable seating and children’s menu options through the booking form; we cannot promise those details yet.
I have dietary requirements.
Tell us when you book, including any allergies. Please confirm what the restaurant can accommodate before attending; do not assume a particular menu is available.
